A system which should contain a Sleeper... ..."should" being the important word. Oh well, there's Creeper to fight and (broken?) tech to examine. #CRPL, but you would have guessed that by now.

Your "corrupted shield bubble" is the word "LE."

The "trick" is cool, albeit dirty. If your goal was to strand the player with little to no power generation, you succeeded.
Pretty sure I'm supposed to be banned, someone might want to get on that.

That was the calibrated intent. To make sure that the Reactors were close enough, I provided them. The map can should then be played from the opposite direction, but with more space and vacant PZs available. There is (for once) a real point to the Totems accessible later.

Sorry, I must have the image in the wrong slot. I had begun this with a modified Sleeper map, but it refused to declare victory, even with CRPL deletion of all units. So, I extracted the images, re-imported them, and imported the scripts.

I hope people don't take the reversal as anything other than a clear introduction for the Corrupter. I could have had it introduce Sleepers where CNs were, but I'm not trying to annoy, only to challenge.

Note: It's just barely possible to shield or delete nearly everything, and foil the Corrupters. You'll need a lot of Shields, however, and the factory creates 6000 Creeper over less than a minute, so bring a lot of weapons.

The additional Corrupters are built faster the more units you have, so if you are wiped out, you should have some space and time to rebuild.

The Creep Relay is included, but you don't often see it here, because it's fragile. Perhaps I should have the Corrupter preferentially target Relays and Shields?

In any case, your screenshot was familiar.

So, I was hit by the reversal the first time, and decided to move all my units to the left side of the map and build a new power base.

No reversal and no victory when I finally neutralized the last spore tower.

The first time I tried this I removed all the infra structure around the right side base as well and thought maybe I had killed something scripted, but when I replayed without destroying anything, even saving every relay from the first creeper wave.

Attaching a save file just after killing the last spore tower, without messing with any prebuild unit.

I'll take a look.

This is the second map, as I mentioned above, and the first refused to declare victory when I wished. This one played perfectly for me, though.

Just to be sure:
Spoiler

The scripts are on the large structure which pumps out AC at first and Creeper later. It's not only your converted units, this too needs to be Nullified in order to win.

Did you?

Otherwise:
Spoiler

There will progressively be built new Corrupters, with rate increasing as your unit count does.

The standard enemies are not the only ones here. (Too obvious to be spoilered, I specifically marked the map as CRPLed)

Spoiler

The script-carrier is initially Nullifier proof to prevent people from destroying it (once they know what it does) and skipping the reversal. Once the reversal occurs, it can be Nullified.

Spoiler
I restarted the map once more, played through normally and no reversal happens as the last visibly enemy structures are destroyed.

GoodMorning

Could I have a save?
This shouldn't happen, unless perhaps you've been unlucky with the timing.

What's the text on the custom structure? If it's "ANALYSING: _____", that would help.

Hi!

Spoiler
The -0 is the save file where I need to nullify the last enemy structures.

When I nullify them, nothing happens.

The auto file is what I have after nullifying the last enemies.

GoodMorning

Found it, and it's a strange one.

The text would have given me the answer, too. It said "ANALYSING: THOR".

Delete the Thor, and the map will progress.

For unknown reasons, GetEnemyUnitsInRange has found the Thor you built, and returned it.
I hadn't tested the map while there was a Thor, having thrown it in late to help turtlers.
Why? I don't know. But I didn't plan for it, and it happened, so the map broke.

If you really want a Thor, it's possible that a part-built one will not be considered an enemy unit.

Grimeripe

I managed to finish the map, as destroying my Thor triggered the conversion (finished without Thor, it was destroyed when 10% built so I did not bother with it).

But the lag after conversion was incredible. maybe because I had quite a few collectors and other units out?

GoodMorning

There's a great lag spike at that point, due to checking unit distances and creating Cores for everything nearby.

Hey,

I'm just going through old maps and hitting the "Sleeper" ones, so came across this one. Cool map!

I didn't save the game (which most people would point out is a mistake), but since I also don't pause and my game-time progress is slow, most of the area was drowned in AC by the time the conversion took place. I built a new forge, maxed out building speed, dropped a guppy next to the big machine and destroyed it.

Obviously, one of the first things you'll do in the game once you get a few pz's is delete the old berthas and build PZ berthas. That made things easy.

Anyway, dunno if you're still around & checking stuff but I really liked this map! Thanks for doing the work on it!  ;D ;D ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

GoodMorning

Thanks. All I really did was a swap with the existing Sleeper units.

Yes, the easy way is fairly obvious once you have the crystal ball of hindsight.

As you might guess, I don't habitually use AC. Which I should probably fix.
