Great job dude! I actually had to do restart this map at the beginning - I didn't expect it to be so challenging! There was a good bit of lag b/c of the happy bouncing balls o' creeper so I focused on killing those first to reduce lag. Probably could have been a good bit faster but it was definitely a fun challenge!

How do you destroy the particle emitters? I can't get any nullifers in.

Use beams to kill the particle emitters.  ;)

Yeah, keep in mind what Sorrontis told you about low scores. When people can't figure out a map, they give it a low score.

If only I could have done that on some of my Calculus tests I couldn't figure out!  :P

Ah, ok. Well kinda the same thing. One guy makes impossible maps, the other guy beats impossible maps. Heh heh.

Tried this last night and failed miserably so came back at it tonight with a new strategy and loved it. The first map with the new unit was good but the gameplay was not complex, this map kicks some butt though. Fantastic challenge that had me consistently challenged throughout, 10/10.

On the Alter Old comment though...

There seems to be a couple of comments lately having a bit of a swipe at Alter Old, specifically suggesting that he is selective about maps he posts scores on (the assumption being that he plays them all).

Forgive me if I have interpreted the comments incorrectly but this is not in the spirit of the CW forums, from my experience everyone here supports and encourages each other and congratulates each other on successes and offers help when people are stuck on a problem. For some of us scores are a competition but it is a fairly light hearted one and  shouldn't become personal.

Alter Old posts scores that none of us can beat, personally I take that as a positive motivator and strive to improve and refine my gameplay and I applaud every preposterously good score, regardless of the pattern of posts.

Well said, Dom. There's no doubt Alter Old has superior skills. His videos are proof of that. Pity that some people are angered by people who are smarter than them rather than to learn & be inspired by them. Not that CW3 is necessarily something we should all strive for greatness in... just sayin' it's the same way in the real world.  ;D

What I still don't understand is why so few people finished this map... It's not like I found it hard, just a bit slow at the beginning with lots of waiting for reactors to grow up.

But maybe it's those people with little patience who download my maps, realize they have to commit some time, and rate it 1 without doing a   merit-based analysis.

It just takes the ratings out of my map.
