Woah, I feel quite exhausted after that struggle, but (yay!) I am victorious! :D Very well done, and very imaginative - thank you!

I'm not sure what kills the idols - I'm definitely not the most strategically minded of PAC players, but it seems that one minute an idol is sitting there at (eg) half health, with the health bar not moving, and the next minute it's gone. What triggers an idol's death? (I know, I'm thick.)

Idols gradually lose their health rather slowly when covered in creeper but for some reason if their covered in digitalis and anti-creeper they'll remain stationary in their health.

Damn nice PAC map. I've captured all PZs around the pyramid and then put all emmiters on the burst mode. Creeper slowly crawling on the base wasn't very fast tactics, but it's pretty spectacular.

I enjoyed that. Not really difficult, but a pretty steady fight throughout. The middle base was really easy to take once I got all the outside emitters and I pushed through the top left corner. Once I killed all the Abraxis units I got the PAC victory message but not the map victory message. You need to take out all the idols to win the map.

I replayed and watched the idols properly this time - my problem was that I didn't notice the slow decrease of health. Sorry about that.  :-[

I suppose it makes sense that the health won't drop if it's covered in AC - we can't put down a tower or emitter if there's AC around, so it fits really.

Anyway, excellent map, and thank you again. :)

+100 for pyramid maps.
+100 for good lay-out siege maps.

Apologies if this is not the proper place to ask strategy questions.  I am not a heavy player, but I've been enjoying the player created maps.  I have been having trouble with strategy on this one.

I get the three obvious starting bases.  I have not been able to get a 4th base.  Here's what I have tried.  Please offer a suggestion on what I am missing.

If I go 3 emitters (one on 600 creeper, the other two supporting), the shield unit and 2 guns are enough to keep the creeper away (both the structure to the south and to the east).  If I go 2 emitters and one spore, the shield regenerates faster than the spore does damage.  If I go with 2 spores, I can destroy the shield unit, but the shield unit is rebuilt before the one emitter and 2 spores can damage the 2 guns and beam.  What am I missing?  I have tried different configurations with the tower push power (sorry I don't remember the correct name, the power for hotkey 4), but that hasn't been able to change the result.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

A single spore tower on a 19 second firing cycle can take out a shield, it just takes several (but less than ten) spores. When the spores land, be sure to apply digitalis.
It should also be possible to push creeper under the shield. Don't just push directly at the shield, but also above and below and lay digitalis down. This will help distract the cannons can make them less effective.

good luck.

Great map loved playing it so much! But I have no idea what happens if the idols finish being built? I can't tell at all how the red bars work, they never seemed to fill completely or empty completely, even after playing for an hour.

Holy.

Shit.

That was amazing. The start was absolutely brutal, I felt like I was losing right up until I killed the first totem in the bottom left.

You hit the sweet spot that a lot of people overshoot when trying to make really hard maps and didn't get stuck in the 'restart over and over till you get it perfect' zone.

Even then it was a slow siege, I never felt like I was steamrolling right up till the last second.

Beautiful siege map.
