Great idea.

I did a map like this years ago. Same idea, but the execution here is far better. One flaw with this is that if you improve your score, it will ignore the score (since it will read it as a worse effort.)

Fun to squeeze every second out of it, though. Someone beat mine so I have a reason to try again. ;)

BTW, Bacura - would love to see more like this. Fun to see a different spin on the game.

wow, 18:54, Matt. That is impressive. How did you hold back the flood for that extra minute?

Drones, drones, and more drones. I had like 30+ going by the end. Toward the end I surrounded the base with blasters and disarmed the ones nearest the base, then armed them as the ones in front began to fail. Also, I placed one blaster every 5 or 6 spaces on the final row. Buys you a little extra time with all your reactors.

Build no mortars. They're a waste of energy and won't help you when the real surge comes. It's entirely about drones and blasters.
