Some of the additional players - there were lots of options, but these are some of my favorites.

Looking at these and all I think is yuck.  Super drones to dodging drones.... no thanks, GL all.

@Cinth - I just did a quick start up of all 5 games and can't figure out your comments. Are you sure you have the exact game names and difficulty levels?

"Lilly" starts out a bit quick, but all you have to do is move your LS down to the left, dig up a gem and build a couple of Blasters. While you're waiting for the gem, just put up a couple of Shields to stop the initial Drone attacks.

EDIT:

ctuna - these games look great to me. Not too difficult and not too easy. I'll try to find time to do a quick run through later.

I looked at them all.. I saw 5 maps with drones, 2 with high health drones and one where you have to play dances with drones at the start.  It wasn't hard to see that I wasn't going to be even close to posting decent times, so I said yuck and GL all.

Nothing against anyone or the selection... just my opinion of those boards vs. my level of play.

Well, I managed to get through all of them, though not with great scores. Here are the results so far:

I'm happy to see Lilly Rowan has joined in the hunt for some of her contemporaries, including herself. Does that seem weird, or is it just me?

I noticed that also. I was trying to figure out if somebody was just having some fun with the scoreboard, or if some new player didn't understand that he was supposed to put the name he wished to appear as when prompted.

Yeah - clearly I missed that - too far down the chart, I guess - shows where my focus is, huh?

What?! Why? How? Just work, you field!

Scores are often as close as 2-3 points.
Which two are you talking about?

Tiuipuv

I was referring to dt42's score and mine. With over 58000 points, I am winning by 17 (for now). That's .03%. It's amazing scores can get as close as 2-3  :o

Watch out for the Deetster - he's a bulldog when he gets close to another player's score.

I suspect it's in large part because people keep playing until they get a better score than their 'opponent', and by the time they get a score even a tiny bit better than the other they stop bothering trying to make their score better. There's still plenty of room for improvement on these scores (or at least there always have been whenever I played through the maps).

Also, the time spent measurement is probably more accurate than the score measurement (in terms of percentages at least), because most maps are finished very quickly and as such even if you took twice as long on a map, the score wouldn't actually be *that* much different (relatively speaking).

Except when Kithros plays - then his will be about half the time of mere mortals.
LOL!
