How do you hold the creeper down in the hole long enough to connect totems?

ok...and how to connect ?

Here's how to do it:

If you have all connect(some blasters you don'T need, use them to clean if nessesary) you cannot finish - until you take "fire Range" upgrade... then still it's pure luck when to connect. took me one minute.

After destroying the connectors on inner platforms and move mortars here, I found that there was plenty of ammo left to sustain connections to totems and so do not themselves need to be connected.
