Desc:
tough game on expert level ;)
at most 25 minutes gameplay. play longer and be destroyed by spores. no chance.
you have to finish fast, and it will be ridiculously hard, i promise :)
it was fun to test and fine tune this map. i have learned a lot about strategy and tactics at it :)

Indeed quite hard, I have failed 6 times already and yelled profanities to the screen twice. But I won't give up! (yet)

I guess I chose the wrong map to start playing custom maps again...  :D So far, I've destroyed the first two spores and survived a couple seconds longer, will work on that....

Go ahead, but I don't know if I will finish this anytime soon, I'm overly frustrated after failing another 2 times lol.

you can win this map only if you use at least 2 buttons on ODIN city, and the pause (keyboard "p" a LOT).
pause a lot to plan and build.

switch off the green button on the city, before you begin (hit "p" on your keyboard immediately at start and build some structures with stopped time) and leave the green button off until the end when you want to load the totems. you will have to switch it on/off many times at the end to stay above zero energy storage.

during the whole game: use the red button on the city to maintain energy storage just above zero.
don't overbuild, but build as fast as possible and shoot just enough to save the city from exploding.

let the creeper flow to the city from the sides (east and west). at start you really can not build collectors directly to the city from this direction (east & west).
build only one blaster to each entrance (east & west), and build these only when the creeper is already VERY near to the city. maybe at about the time of first spores attack.

first build just enough collectors and blasters (2) to cap the nearest 2 emitters (south & north) before they begin to produce creeper.

build as much collectors as possible on high ground towards south & north.
note the times when the 10 south & north emitters switch on. cap each of them JUST BEFORE it starts to produce.
this gives you enough space to build some more collectors in guarded valleys.

JUST BEFORE the spores come, build 2 SAMs.
load them with ammo at least to half load. you can deactivate them until the spores come.
as the spores attack, activate only the SAM where the spores go.
switch off the red button on the city for the spores attack, if the SAMs have enough ammo to shot down the spores. don't load the SAMs with ammo when it's not needed.
deactivate the SAMs after the spores attack (so they don't get ammo).
after the spore attacks, move them towards the direction of the next attack and maybe build 1 more SAM JUST BEFORE any next attack.

cap the east & west emitters one at a time after the 8 guarded north & south valleys are covered with collectors.
you will need 10 relays for this (spoiler screenshot).

Blue letters: order and side of the first 4 spore waves.
Blue numbers: number of spores in the wave

well, you are right, the creeper has exactly that color :)
and i let it that way on my next map.

i uploaded it today. should be online soon.

the third map should be harder than the second, but it depends on your tactical decisions.
