It's a matter of what fits the map. While I'd like to keep the epic atmosphere up, the series is going to get very morbid very quickly. Also, that's exactly what my thought the down votes were for. It's to be expected with any difficult map, really. Noobs don't understand the difference between a bad map and a map they can't beat on the first try. Don't expect this to effect the difficulty of the other maps, though. I can tell by the comments that the maps are still appreciated.

note to self: next time I return to cw dont start with an ebon map!!! *cough*
ebon your field work is amazing I got caught off guard a few times but In the end I didnt have much trouble with the final boss because I could just
Spoiler
nulify the gateways move the LS to the left of the dragon and go straight to the holocube with just enough time to collect it
[close]
the hardest part was the plant for me but that was just because I forgot to build a micro rift to keep the beacons lit.
looking forward to the next parts of the series
go Dutch
go Netherlands
Holland ftw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The third one should not be that bad. It's mostly going to be a story building map... with some cool field effects, of course. And possibly an interesting battle... I wouldn't really count it as a boss, though. The biggest challenge in ATF3 will likely be a time crunch. Survival pods to save.

lol, I had to tweak a few things I found in this map to turn them into some easy speed demon tricks. But the flying the LS down below the dragons thing was an accident... I still need to do a speed run of this map at some point. I've never been one for speed runs, even when I know (and placed) all the tricks. :P

ok, call me lazy, call me tired from a long day at the office, call me what you will - but I just want to flip the game on and blast a bit of creeper without strategizing for half an hour. I got exhausted just planning my initial approach!

Liked the first one though :)

Yes, this map isn't very much of a, "just blast the creeper" map. It requires a lot of excessive planning. Remember shields and repulsors!
Yes I'm back on the forums. Might even play some creeper world later this week, (one test to get out of the way tomorrow and I'm basically done for the week) and who knows, maybe even mess around with the map editor again. xD

Everything is too long a list to work with.
No one knows everything about anything.
No one knows something about everything.
Everyone knows something about something.
Anyone could be the world's foremost expert on something.
Anyone who thinks that just because they didn't already know a thing, it must not be true or important, is an idiot.

Is there a youtube video for this map?
If someone can recommend a good free screen recorder, I can make a video.

Even if i have all of 3 KC games, I still continue to amuse myself with CW2  ;)

Maybe my old age, I'm 46, but I'm still loving this old school game, a superb one.

BTW, thanks a lot for first two episodes -  Impressive work!

Now waiting for 4th game on  sept, 30... I think it will be... WOW!!!!

Have a nice everything!
