I played it, and my initial reaction was "Oh wow, this is gonna take a ridiculously long time."

Then after about 2 minutes I started a movie and went side-by-side with the movie and cw2, and sure enough, it took a LONG time.

The thing is, once I got the dark beam it wasn't even hard - build a beam, point it right, turn it on and open a hole. The beam stops the dense creeper in the bottom from bubbling up, and after just a minute of running it I was able to open another hole in the drone-free above-the-beam area and advance with blasters and launchers and makers, and clean up the emitters on top. Then build two mirrors, bla bla. The hardest part of this map was more or less staying awake to finish it. =P

That's not to say I wouldn't play another like it, because who am I kidding? I would.

Would have been a lot less boring if it was easier to dig the terrain and one did not have to pause so often for Ore Rigs to clear the way. And what is it with all  the gems?

My first try I got 6 minutes in before noticing the micro rift halfway down.  Embarrassed *Hit restart.*

Beaten easily entirely with conventional weapons. (Built the dark beam but did not use.) Now I go back to my last save point and snag the rest of the gems for score...  Cheesy
