The Claymore is an experimental-class carrier. Minimally armored and lacking personal defense to offset overwhelming production costs, manufacturing was soon halted in favor of more general-purpose spacecraft. Although Sy-Tech retains a handful of licenses, the carrier is almost never seen in combat. On the rare occasion a Claymore is deployed to turn the tide of war with its numerous fighters, it will only be sent with a large group of support craft to handle its many weaknesses.
