Strikefleet Alpha are idiots. Sure, they defended their home turf if anything came their way, but instead of helping me,
even if just a tiny bit, they just ... what? Twiddle their thumbs? Bet whether I make it or not? Wait until the threat grows sufficiently out of control?

OK the big stay idle to keep the turf and the ships available to build are so weak small, weak that we can't advance.
Waste of time.

The simple answer to this is Custom Modules don't work in sandbox mode.
They only work in the editor and maps where the mapmaker adds custom modules.
Unfortunately.

I really enjoyed the storyline in this series. And each map had progressively greater challenges but more firepower at the same time - great job with that!

So that's why this particular ending puzzled me. It was as if each of the previous battles was leading to this great final battle with the enemy and you'd expect to have huge fleets. And at first, that's what it looked like.

But then, as others have mentioned, no... you just get a couple carriers. The friendly but virtually purposeless fleet looks like just what I was expecting. But the enemy was pretty weak compared to that fleet. So, obviously, we're only going to be using our fleet.

Which brings me to the biggest plot hole. This is a fleet of civilian ships - what military strategist would send the weakest ships into battle and leave the strongest behind?

So, to me this would've been better if it had just been another mission with few or no big ships hanging out. And I would've greatly preferred one of the shielded lathing-in-your-face-like-a-boss ships than the two carriers. But I didn't think the mission was as bad as others have said. The storyline alone makes it at least slightly above average, and the ships are enough to do the job even though it's not easy.

Thanks for the mission!  ;D
