After the success of the Baton Rouge, the SSDI increased the funding to the SSDI Photonic Shielding Matrix or SSDI:PSM for short. The Photon Ship is the first of this class of vessels to be unveiled to the public. Obviously, the PSM has a high power requirement. It posses two cannons which should be solely used as defence against enemy cannon shots.
