Make it to the corner or it's off to the coroner. Once there, be warned...it's a long fight back to the top, uphill all the way.
how to beat this since you get killed by a huge drone in the new corner?
Nice concept - I enjoyed playing it! You're right - it certainly is a pretty long slog. Takes 5+ minutes just to hide in the corner and another half hour to fight back.

The murder drone comes from the last gateway right outside your "safe room." Unfortunately for him, he's outside the safety of the room so things might get a little dangerous for him out there ;)
