Avatar change not working

Seeing how the category's description includes the website, I believe this is the right place to ask.

Is avatar changing broken or disabled for some reason? I managed to find the option in the profile's summary but clicking it does nothing, aside from refreshing the site (technically it appends something to the url but whatever). It doesn't work on Firefox nor Edge, and I'm... not particularly happy with this relic of the past haunting me on this forum with me being unable to do anything about it.

Am I missing something or is this feature actually borked. If the latter, can I at least get reset to a default or something?

thank you for your time etc etc

Does this link work? https://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;area=forumprofile

This is what I meant by the "appends something to the url" part. It's the link from clicking the avatar change.

It works in the sense that it leads to my profile, but that's about it.

EDIT: It actually worked now. Huh. Opening it in the new tab might've been an issue. It refused to work from my profile though. So either it's the profile page broken somehow, or you edited the link, or it's repaired now..?

I'll check it again from the profile.

EDIT EDIT: It could've also been tied to my number of posts? After posting this I jumped from newbie to jr. member, and it started working at that point.. and the "Forum Profile" section got added to the Profile dropdown menu.

Welp. So that was the problem. I didn't expect that kind of functionality to be locked behind posts, so my brain never went there, but here you go. I'm free of the burden of young me now. Thanks!

I've found an option in the settings that may resolve this problem. Hopefully it is now fixed. (for other newbies wanting to change their profile pictures)>

Edit: Fixed an unfortunate typo.
