Greetings, friends. Lieutenant Zoura here reporting progress for fleet Zero's development. I will be updating the ship roster as Vulpe (Fleet Zero's Chief engineer) writes up and tests the schematics for new ships.

Ship Classes
Ships are divided into Micro, Small, Medium, Large, and Ludicrous classes.

Micro
Spoiler

Minion
A small escort vessel that can be safely tucked behind larger ships or in small inlets

[close]

Small
Spoiler

Heavy Recon
A large but fast vessel with an energy tank to aid it in reconnaissance

Meatshield
A light vessel with heavy plating.

Glider
A fast vessel with similar firepower to the GalCorp Destroyer

Engineer
A useful toolship with a lathe, a guppy, a fighter bay, as well as a discharger.

Handyman
A light toolship with a discharger and a lathe.

Fox
Fast ship with 6 missile launchers, layout similar to the wolf.

[close]

Medium
Spoiler

Mega-Guppy
A medium ship with large amounts of energy storage and light weapons. Good for supporting small fleets on quick trips.

Guppy Carrier
A carrier specialising in Guppies. Good for resupplying the Mega-Guppy.

Rigger
Light artillery carrier with some point defences and storage.

Buccaneer
Yar, mateys, this one got a lots of cannons! (Sorry I'll never do that again.)

[close]

Large
Spoiler

Easy Fleet
A large ship hosting up to 8 fighters.

Guardian
A large ship with both physical and energy shields. Also has a discharger for stunner defence.

Hauler
Massive Tanker with on-board reactors.

Hydra
A large ship with tonnes of particle beams.

Pitchfork
Wait, I'm supposed to comment on this? How? Alright, so according to Vulpe it's "planned randomness" even though she was drunk at the time of creation.

Coyote
A relatively heavy variant of the wolf, designed as a battlecruiser meant to hold its own.Very powerful for its price.

[close]

Ludicrous
Spoiler

Willow
Heavy warship with fighters, dischargers, and lots of weapons.

Colossus
The largest ship in the fleet. Boasts an impressive amount of Mk 7's along with shields and a reactor.

Giga Cruiser
Kinda makes the Colossus seem underbuilt. With 6 fighter bays, countless rectors, and 4 Mk 7's, the Giga-Cruiser won't disappoint.

Debris
Spoiler

These ships are commonly found in asteroid belts, where thermal energy and large celestial bodies are either barely or not at all present. They have impressive firepower and are massive, but seem to segment themselves and power each part through electromagnetic pulses. We have researched these vessels down to the hull, and still cannot seem to reverse engineer the complicated magnet arrays that transport power between ship segments.

Debris
This old ship was found in a ancient debris field. It carries a guppy and countless lasers to defend itself, and appears to use electromagnetism to keep itself together.

Debris Cruiser
This ship uses its shields to keep its Mk 7 and countless other weapons connected to it. It utilises electromagnetic pulses to distribute power to the systems. Like its smaller counterpart, it also carries a guppy.

Debris Fighter
This ship uses significantly smaller electromagnetic pulses than its larger cousins. It makes a good, cheap front runner, but has relatively small weapon systems.

Debris Artillery
Ogun would be proud of this vessel. Heavy front plating, dual engines, dual Mk 7's, and point defence missiles and cannons? This is obviously proof that (at least some of) the species that built these ships liked to blow stuff up.

Debris Tanker
This ship is well armed and armored for a tanker, but it still is a tanker. 2 tanks, 2 guppies, some point defenses and heavy armor... I wonder if this species did a lot of open-space combat... Even the fighters are impressively well built.

Debris Mobile Turret
This... ship... thing uses only inertial thrusters to move. It carries plenty of firepower to be sure, but it definitely a back-of-the-fleet type ship...

Debris Lathe
A lathe ship made with debris technology.

I wanted to look at your ships but having to click on spoiler every time was too much work. :o

Lazy bum!

Jk Jk sorry it's just so people don't get triggered by lack of spoilers. I'd rather the minority get angry with me rather than the majority.

I don't think a vague description of each ship in at most two short sentences will irritate anyone. The spoiler tags are more useful in this case for when each ship description comes with a large image taken from the editor. If you're worried about ACTUAL spoilers though, a single spoiler tag will work plenty well for that.

I'm assuming he'll be attaching pictures soon enough.

Images? Um... Yeah, yeah totally in the (not-so) near future!

Alright I made the spoilers less tedious. (1 per class rather than 1 per class + 1 per ship, to keep things organised.)

It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Head Recorder.

We would gladly work to exchange technology and information as we discover something of note. We can continue this conversation once I return from Sector 14a. A certain test has gone in an unexpected direction. We have added your listing to our corporate servers.

We have recently been in contact with the creators of the Debris Ships. Our amicable intentions have made them less wary, but they are still concerned of the particulate menace. They live in asteroid belts, carving pieces of rock to form hulls once the appropriate modules are in place. The call themselves the "Shrapnoids" and are surprisingly competent at metalwork. They can lift thousands of tonnes of metal and electronics with a mere flick of the wrist. We have yet to venture into their "province" as-it-were, but are slowly working towards that. We hope to learn their construction techniques.
