Made a map with a large pool of creeper of insane density, but plenty of ore and room for reactors. I could have won the map, but I generally played really sloppily, and made a lot of mistakes. For one, I didn't prepare enough before breaking the barrier. I should have waited for more anticreeper, and made more defenses than a hallway of launchers. But I was lazy.
To any daring enough to attempt this map: Use lots of shields, and lots of launchers.
I was going to play the map how you suggested, then I realized you left experimentals turned on and you could just conversion bomb the strong creeper, not sure if that was intended
