Hmm. Gotta cut down the time on #2. That one is hard. Maybe shave 3 and 5 as well.

In that case you have 3 options:

1. Make it difficult on yourself by playing less effective.
2. Play harder maps.
3. Try to beat a map as fast as possible.

Options 2 & 3 appeal more to me. ;)
I usually play less effectively, sometimes I go to the deepest and flattest plain on the map.

If you want something done then do it yourself, if you can't,then ask someone to do it for you, making sure to compensate later. If you cannot do that, then you're better off doing nothing at all -Me

You should make some more customs maps and force the player to fight like that as well. Could be a very hard (and pleasant) battle. :)

Enjoyed that. Played 1 a good few times to finally get a decent score. The rest I need to look at again :P

Edit: Did 1883 again. Bit better now. Mind you, not that much better, 3 mins off and only 300 pts better because of the way it scores.

I assume it is the score as opposed to the time?

Edit again: carved a minute off 1985.

Edit again, did 1902 a bit better

Yes, the accumulated scores will be compared. This means that gaining one minute on a fast map will give you more extra points than gaining one minute on a slower map (which is fair I think, because that's a lot harder).

Nice to see you joined in! :)

Have to say am enjoying this. Nice to have a few maps to think about how to improve and also, the bridging requirements are good learning.

the bridging requirements are good learning.

Yes, this technique is course not mandatory, but on some maps it really helps. It had been a while that I used it myself (because I don't like custom maps that require it), but using OC to connect to the last totem just saves a lot of time in certain cases.

This is first time, when i show my results ;-)
I do not think I would fight for another second, if this do not give me a better position:)

Good point, but don't forget Sqaz, Fisherck & Miss Melissa for instance haven't completed all of their maps yet. I expect some pretty decent times from them.

Yep, beware for me (this is still my fist run, didn't had enough time to complete them all in once):

April 10 1815:         9692     1min 54 (I'll probably get a better score if I micro-manage some more).

August 24 79:         8966     6min 55 (Yes, I know, terrible score, but remember it's just my first run)
May 7 1902:           9607     2min 27
November 13 1985: 9466     3min 23
