Can someone suggest a cheap PC that I can run CW4 on please. I had a HP Pavilion i3 that was OK for cw3 but way too slow for cw4. I changed the drive to SSD but to no improvement. I am rather broke so want a cheap fix or replacement if at all possible
I'm far from being an expert, but until one arrives:

CW4 places more load on a GPU. It also is optimised for a multi-core machine, where CW3 was singlethreaded.
This machine uses an i7 and similar GPU made half a decade ago, and runs CW4 fairly well on 1x speed, but doesn't keep up with 4x. I don't recall RAM being a concern, so an SSD seems unlikely to help.
Of course, the top-tier shaders will increase the load further, but lag is more important to me.
