Really enjoyed this map! Tried to brute force it and managed to crash my game, but got through in the end

?!?!?!?!??
I would like information as to how this crash happened so I can fix it to ensure it can't happen in the future.
Unless it happened when you took out the V-Reactor infrastructure because I did not crash from that and have seen V-Rods cause crashes only for them to sometimes not and sometimes do in inconsistent conditions.

Glad you enjoyed it regardless.

Hit the nail on the head. The explosion of the infrastructure combined with me either trying to move around too much at once or I might of been downloading something in the background and it caused the game to crash.
If it is known to sometimes crash there then it's probably nothing out of the ordinary.

That was *HARD*. I was just about to give up when I got a bit of luck, and the enemy reactors exploded.

The enemy seemed to be firing nukes far more often than 60 seconds.

That is because they had access to enough ARG to sustain it and the SML was next to the factory.
This made me realize that the AntiNUKE loads interceptors too slowly and I have buffed them in response.

Still trying to think of a model and concept of a stronger Anti Nuke, for now you won't be seeing the other strategic missiles like the Anti Creeper or Armored ones as the current AntiNUKE balance does not work well with the balance of those other missiles.

Besides:
I have made many maps in a row that where easy enough for me to put some kind of "easy" tag on em. Nothing has had actually any real difficulty on hardcore but I made sure that wasn't the case here.

My advise is to not move the camera when it happens or move it so the explosion effects are off screen. I will be sure to reduce the amount of effects since I have a strong PC and didn't crash yet you crashed and since this was not from the inconsistent weirdness of V-Rods, you most certainly crashed because of rendering too many effects.

Wonderful to finally be able to play these maps with no lag at all. I found the balance to be quite even until I had taken half the map, then the creep just seemed to steamroll whatever was in its way as long as I deployed anti nukes every so often. That was on normal, though, so perhaps hard will see the scales tip a bit more in the other direction.

I am struggling to find a consistent WIKI or documentation describing all the features and usages of the custom units. Since I have been unsuccessful in finding ANY documentation on how to use the antiNUKE, I will try and beat the level without it. It would be super helpful if you would put a link in the ADA message that links to a document that explains every unit on your maps because sitting here looking through site after site to find one makes me want to play your map less and less.

I am actually working on that. Making Wiki pages for the units is in progress.
And I mean, what is so complex about the antiNUKE? Its a counter to nukes, at least place it and then it shows you a range indicator when selected. It's not THAT complicated. Each ring was in the past a representation of the launched interceptor's reliability to hit the nuke with each ring further from the center being less reliable, now they are better though so it does not matter but it looks nice so I kept it.

As time goes on I will add more and more of the VPAC stuff at the Kuckle Cracker wiki at this location within said wiki:
http://knucklecracker.com/wiki/doku.php?id=cw4:custom

The units are also intended to be experimented with by the player.

Map seemed to have crashed with I think the reactors exploding but not being destroyed.

I'm not entirely sure but that was what happened roughly around the time of the crash

Already answered.
Mean while I just became victorious at yet another version of Lancer quantum physics where reversing a list while UIState 4 is at 12, mutates that same list into  a list that would have been created when the UIState 4 was at 0. I think this is the closest literal concept of quantum physics I have encountered in my experiences of "quantum physics in coding". Aka when looking at something causes it to change behavior. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anyways, I can release a reupload of this mission that would use the updated V-Power CPACK which uses less effects as I believe the crashes are from the game overloading due to your computer specs as I did not encounter this problem and I have a beefy computer now.

It crashed for me also - lucky me saved a few times before it happend. It was when the scm was about to start (I always save like 1min, 30sec and 10sec before - ´cause sometimes it will target just a stupid place and with reloading you can get lucky to change that).
Anyway - topic antinuke: I nearly never use them. I use adv em. and they do just fine with it. If the scm got killed, nothing happend. If you kill the nuke, it will blast a lot away anyway. So i invest in more adv em instead of antinukes :)
Nice map anyway - not that laggy, not to easy (dunno how it is on normal, i always play hardest). was fun.

I always balance everything based on the hardest difficulty, then remove things from that difficulty besides buffing units for the lesser difficulties. Seems to be a reliable system.
Also helps that Adv.Emitters are immune to the Strategic Missile's impact damage, giving a bit of extra layers in how to deal with those big missiles.
Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully the reduced particle effects in future maps prevents the crash completly.
