Interesting map - I found myself worrying too much about the emitters and the spores that might be coming any minute now... no need to worry at all.  ;)

If you're having difficulty with this map and you're literate enough to read this sentence, then invest as much as possible into those super-beefy totems. They'll give you plenty of aether for just about anything you need as long as you keep them fed.

Hmm... I dunno that you really need them but the aether is obviously helpful. The totems on the right are pretty beefy and you already start out with more power than you need.  I ended up just destroying the power crystal when I got to it so I could build something there.
