Title: KnuckleCracker.com website down for maintenance on June 16, 2013
Post by: knucracker on June 16, 2013, 09:41:04 AM
The web site will be down for maintenance for around 30 minutes starting around 11:00pm EDT on June 16, 2013.  The server is being migrated to a more powerful hardware platform and the migration can take just a bit.

The folks at linode have upgraded all of their plans to include double the ram, better processors, etc.  So, I have to reboot and go through a migration onto the new hardware.   I don't actually know how long it will take.  They say that I enter a queue then it takes about a minute per gig of data.  Problem is, I don't know how long from when I join the queue to when the migration takes place.  If it is an automated system, then not long I'm guessing.  If it requires human intervention... then???

In any case, Sunday night is probably the best time to have at it.
