Dude, I like your music and all, but sometimes I'd like to listen to my own stuff or I have to be qiuet for the PUs, you know what I mean? and every time I change battles, the music comes back on and also there is no way to mute the music on the main and menu screens. So please, if I mute the music, let it stay muted until I unmute it.

On the main menu there is a little option in the lower left of the screen you can click to mute the music during all of the menu screens. During gameplay, click the option button in the lower right and turn the music volume all of the way down. This setting is persistent across game plays.
