Sorry for the delay; here is this week's tournament - Extinct Languages. There are more than 7000 languages currently spoken in the world, but linguists estimate that up to 90% of them could become extinct by 2050, as native speakers die without passing on their language to their children. Many languages have become extinct in the past century, including these five (from List of languages by time of extinction).

I keep getting squashed in a vise. Overflow from the surface emitter on the right or run over by the drones escaping from the left. (1 layer decaying terrain) Usually both at once.
Power. Power! I must have more POWER!

Wheatmidge

Akkala Sami (Kola Peninsula, Russia) was harder than I expected. High health drones are annoying. My advice would to be to only grab only one of the anti-creeper resource things the 20 minerals is better spent on 4 more reactors. With a maker and a single blaster you can stop the right pool from expanding. and build a bunch of shields for when the left breaks open, and 3 blasters will be able to safely stop the drones.

That map is killing me too.  I tried getting the emitter on the right first, and managed to kill it a couple minutes in, but then the drones emerge from underneath and take me out.  By then, drones from the left have killed off my reactors and then it's just like watching a train wreck...

Akkala Sami (Kola Peninsula, Russia), was a hard map, but managed it with the tips from Wheatmidge. Only without the anti-creeper. Just used 2 blasters to the right with shields and 3 blasters to the left with shields, to keep it stable and suplied.

That does it for this week's tournament.

Good job Kava09! You get to pick the theme for next week.
I am certainly curious to see how everyone handled map 2. I certainly had a lot of room for improvement on that one.
Also, to the "obvious cheater" - don't bother posting scores if you are cheating, and if not, please tell us your amazing strategy to get your very quick (but not unbelievably fast) times.
