Work fast and use the siphons and a Thor to defend your island from the approaching digitalis. Be careful, as the siphons won't last fforever and need constant replacing, create beam defences and guppies to support any drops onto the mainland.
Those Air Exclusion Zones aren't much good if I can just fly to the back corner and take out the whole bunch from there. ;)
