Why Adobe AIR?

I came across the Creeper World Trainer and enjoyed it and so decided to look at the demo of Creeper World.  It was only after downloading the demo I found it required Adobe AIR.

I don't have Adobe AIR installed on my PC and haven't needed it so far, so I decided not to continue with the installation.

Adobe air is essentially just the desktop version of flash.  It allows the game to have a desktop icon, run full screen, and read and write the save game file.  Gazillions of people have it installed.  It is used by very popular software like TweetDeck and of course Creeper World.  If you ever don't want it installed, you can easily remove it under add/remove programs.  It is also really small.
