Is there a place with "good" custom CW2 maps compiled? Or a way to sort the 2655 maps on Knucklecracker by popularity or downloads? I'm just looking to play some of the better maps without having to sift through them manually! Any help would be appreciated  :)

Can you provide us some more information on what kind of levels you like? If you like challenging maps try mine or ea3401's (numbers may be different) maps, if you want long rooms maps search for 'chaz'.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'm not sure what kind of maps I'm looking for, I was just a bit overwhelmed looking at all the maps and figured that asking around would be a better way to find maps to play.

Just a (least) favourite story mission would help, or any other map you (dis)liked.

And before I forget, a warm welcome to this fantastic forum :D

Well the thing is I originally played CW2 when it first came out and just didn't bother with customs at the time for whatever reason. So I really don't remember at all what I (dis)liked. Now that I want to start playing again there are a bit too many customs. TBH it would work just fine for me if you just listed some of your favorite customs, or any customs you think are good. I'll get around to your earlier recommendations in a bit, I didn't have the time yesterday.

Just found an old list of the most commented maps (at some point in history, not today):

Note that hard maps tend to get more comments than easy maps, just because people ask how to complete it.

Your "rating of comments" describing how hard is maps.

My suggestion is "rating of enjoyment". Simple formula:

(number of "likes") - (number of "unlikes") = (enjoyment result)

For example:

map#730(Bill Harrison) 104-9=95
map#1031(Bram van de Gevel) 117-6=111
map#570(north Korean) 162-16=146
map#1726(ShadowDragon7015) 110-1=109
map#1304(Shimizu) 115-10=105
map#1291(Seratna) 190-25=165

Is it possible to get such data for maps with "rating of enjoyment" high than 100?

P.S. It will be good answer for question of this topics.  :)
