I would like to see the option for moderators to ban map makers that ignore warnings.
not telling names but *cough* (expected a name here didnt you?) *cough*
gets warnings about map heights being too high without used space but keeps ignoring the warning.
I think those kind of maps take up time that could be spent on better maps that are of higher quality

Maps or mapmakers should not be banned or denied simply because they "take up time that could be spent on better maps that are of higher quality". Ultimately it is for each player to decide what maps they wish to play. You are better off spending your time suggesting a map rating system and more search criteria that may allow you to find the type of maps you would prefer to play.

Actually, I've started doing this.

Good to see I stumbled onto an effective solution on my own.
Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

As far as I know no-one objected against Virgil's proposal for a positive only vote (comparable to Facebook's 'I like this').

Facebook is hardly the model I'd like to compare sites with.

Yes, we all know your opinion about Facebook and privacy, but this is just about being able to give a map a 'thumbs up'. Much more useful than ratings that will average out and also not vulnerable to people abusing the system by casting negative votes.

This is about people not being able to express their dislike of a map (or of stuff on Facebook).
