Title: Looking for a good HOTAS
Post by: Michionlion on June 21, 2015, 11:00:31 AM
So, I'm looking for a good throttle/joystick (HOTAS) combination for play games like Elite: Dangerous, Star Citizen, and others like them.  Price isn't a huge deal, but under $150 would be nice.  Anybody have recommendations they can personally attest to?

All I know about HOTAS are from this article (which, incidentally) isn't in the price range you mentioned. Just thought I'd put it here in case you haven't seen it.

I think I saw that when it was first posted here, but a good re-read now that I'm looking for one.  Thanks!

Michionlion, did you ever buy anything? Today I found this link to Saitec X-55 HOTAS: http://www.pcper.com/news/General-Tech/Saiteks-X-55-Rhino-has-HOTAS

Googling "Saitek X-55 Rhino" actually brought up a lot of hits on Amazon, for one.

Nope, I ended up just letting it fly.  I am moving into college dorms in a month or so, so not sure now is the time for new hardware purchases.
