No Sound

I just bought particle fleet and when I booted it up there is no sound during gameplay or menu or anywhere throughout. Anyone else with this problem as well?

Do the normal things if not already.
- Reboot (fully)
- Go into the the game's settings menu and make sure the volume sliders are all the way over.

how I wish it was just that
i've already rebooted fully, i've maxed out the volume sliders but there is still no sound :/
