I killed everything except the orbiting world.
Game will not end.
Please help.

The orbiting world is not required for victory. However, any techs (or message artifacts) are. As I recall, there's a message artifact on the outer ring.
If that isn't the problem, it is difficult to assist without a screenshot.

I see no pickups but I will spam colectors to cover the map.
In the menu, under advanced options, I think, there is an option to force-unlock all levels.

Update. Apparently the game now says that I beat the world in 17 minutes. But my last save is 31 minutes. And the game never ends.
I will try to play the world again from an older save.
That actually makes the explanation easier: When the last enemy is Nullified, the world completion dialogue appears. However, it is entirely possible to be deselecting a unit via a hotkey at that point. This dismisses the world-completion dialogue, sometimes before you so much as notice it, as if you had clicked "keep playing".
Yeah I'm sure that's what happened. Still gonna replay it to see the ending dialog.
